"Il Duce" is a 1985 single by noise rock band Big Black. Homestead Records asked the band to record a single for radio stations. Vocalist Steve Albini accepted, as long as the single wouldn't be sold otherwise. The band later discovered the single was being sold at several stores outside of the band's Chicago hometown. This incident resulted Big Black leaving Homestead Records for good.
